A few photos from the 1985-86 campaign by 6th grade students from Caldwell, Kansas to have the Ornate Box Turtle named the official state reptile of Kansas.  There are also photos in regard to how the little town of Caldwell, Kansas became the Ornate Box Turtle Capital of the World.

Copies of the photos may be ordered for personal use or for educational projects and reports.  They may not be reproduced in other publications without permission from Kansas Heritage Photography.

NOTE that many of these photos are copies from old 35mm slides and other older format prints.  They do not all fit standard formats.  Also, they will make good prints, but not all will make professional quality prints.

Contact Larry L. Miller at Kansas Heritage Photography if you have questions in regard to any of the photos.
